Hello out there, we're on the air, it's 'Hockey Night' tonight. Tension grows, the wistle blows, and the puck goes down the ice. The goalie jumps, and the players bump, and the fans all go insane. Someone roars, "Bobby Scores!", at the good ol' Hockey Game. :: CHORUS :: OH! The good ol' Hockey game, is the best game you can name. And the best game you can name, is the good ol' Hockey game. Second Period. Where players dash, with skates aflash, the home team trails behind. But they grab the puck, and go bursting up, and they're down across the line. They storm the crease, like bumble bees, they travel like a burning flame. We see them slide, the puck inside, it's a 1-1 hockey game. (Chorus) Third Period. Last game of the playoff too! Oh take me where, the hockey players, face off down the rink. And the Stanley Cup, is all filled up, for the champs who win the drink. Now the final flick, of a hockey stick, and the one gigantic scream. "The puck is in! The home team wins!", the good ol' hockey game. (Chorus x3)

The Lumberjack by Hal Willis 1964 Well I walk along the river with my new Swede Saw With a file in the pocket of my old mackanaw I'm a headed for the wood each morning at the break of day As I take a little short cut over the hill I can hear the whistle blow at the old saw mill It's the night gang a-leaving for the bunkhouse across the bay Chorus Well I'm a sitting on a tree stump eating Johnny cake I heard the whistle blow, I had to take a break I'm a boiling up my tea in an old tin can Cause that is the life of a Lumberjack Man I'm gonna cut me a jack pine tall and limber You'd better step aside when I holler timber My double bit axe is gonna make the big chips fly When the cut is clean, I'll set my wedge And drive it into place with a nine pound sledge I've already picked the spot where this big tree gonna lie Chorus The swamper's getting ready to take my load Skidding out my logs, and pile em on the road I'm a waiting for the jammer, to put them on the sleigh The boss man's a coming to scale my lumber I better make sure, that he's got the right number Before I let the logs go a rolling on their way

Christmas In Folsom ©2017 Stephen K. Donnelly SOCAN/ASCAP Verse E E E E / E E B B E E7 A F# / B B E E CHORUS A E B A A E-E/D#-C#m B V1 I hear the sleigh bells ringing In the corners of my mind But the memories are fading 'Cause it's been a long long time Since I heard those carollers sing Cause I done a bad bad thing Now it's Folsom Prison where I bide my time V2 Ever since I was a young boy I loved those Christmas treats Running down on Christmas morn' To presents and a tree Stockings hung above the fire What more could a heart desire But ma and pa and Christmas time and me Chorus: But I'm spending Christmas in Folsom Just like I have so many years before If I can just walk the line in Folsom Here's hopin' I won't have too many more V3 My youthful innocence Turned a deeper shade There was no explanation For the trouble that I made In loneliness and age, my kindness turned to rage One too many altercations and I was in the street REPEAT CHORUS SOLO V4 I thought that when I found you I'd left behind those ways But I shot a man on Christmas eve For something he didn't say Now instead of hanging wreaths I just hang my head in shame I sit alone on Christmas eve with no one else to blame 2nd chorus: I'm spending Christmas in Folsom And the only thing that gets me through Is knowing maybe next year instead of Folsom I'll be spending Christmas eve with you Chorus: I'm spending Christmas in Folsom You know it’s becoming quite a chore Yeah I’m spending Christmas time in Folsom Just like I have a dozen times before I hope that I won’t have too many more I guess I’ll stay away from liquor stores And I won’t dress as Santa any more
